Why do people keep coming here after all these years? It's not just because their parents shopped here when they were children, or because our grandfather made their grandparents' wedding cake. It's our personal involvement in all of our business that's kept us connected and important to Chicago for over 65 years. It's our deep appreciation for the communal nature of food, especially dessert. We know our customers by name and we know many of their birthdays and anniversaries.
